Some options:

Our preferred method would be to use organic rolled oats, soaked overnight in water. Adding a squeeze of lemon juice will make the nutrients in the oats more available.

Ingredients:

Rolled oats
A squeeze of lemon
Double the amount of water as oats
A pinch of salt
1-2 scoops Elderberry Crystals
Sweetener to taste

Combine oats and water. Add a squeeze of lemon if available and soak overnight. The next morning, place a small pot of water on the stove and add a pinch of salt. Drain and discard the soaking water from the oats. When the pot comes to a boil, add the drained oats. Boil for 1 minute before lowering the heat. Stir and cook for about 5 minutes depending on your oats and remove from heat. Stir in Elderberry Crystals, place lid on the pot, and allow to sit for 1-2 minutes before serving.

Optional Toppings:

Walnuts or your favorite nuts
Flax seeds or your favorite seeds
Maple syrup or your favorite sweetener
Flax oil or your favorite fat
