Ingredients
1 cup raw walnuts
¾ cup sliced almonds
1 ¼ cup pitted Medjool dates
½ cup raw buckwheat groats
½ cup coconut shreds
3 tbsp raw cacao powder
2 tbsp rolled oats
2 tbsp Udo’s Oil 3+6+9 Blend
2 tbsp hemp hearts
1 tbsp ground flax
½ tsp sea salt
Optional: 6 squares of dark chocolate, chopped (For Dairy-Free & Vegan, choose dairy-free chocolate)
Instructions
- Lay pitted dates in a bowl and fill with boiled water. Let them sit for 2-3 minutes, then drain and rinse.
- Add walnuts and almonds to a food processor and pulse 4-5 times to chop. Add dates and pulse a few times again.
- Add buckwheat, rolled oats, coconut, cacao, and Udo’s Oil. Pulse again until everything is well incorporated.
- Transfer to a large bowl, then stir in ground flax, hemp hearts, sea salt and chocolate pieces if desired. Stir well and serve.
Keep at room temperature for up to 24 hours or refrigerate for 1-2 weeks.
