Okay, so I’m gonna be real for a minute. Being a baker is really fun, however, being a FIT baker is another story altogether.
I have struggled with my cholesterol and weight for as long as I can remember. I am not one of those people who can eat all the brownies and still look svelte and maintain under 200 on the lipids panel…
So, I find as many ways as possible to incorporate healthy foods into my lifestyle. To keep it fun and cool in these hot summer temps, I drizzled some Udo’s Oil into my favorite yogurt protein smoothie and froze it in my handy cakesicle mold to make these amazingly refreshing, indulgent-feeling yogurt pops.
Strawberry Yogurt Pops
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- ½ cup plain greek yogurt
- ½-1 cup non-dairy milk (I make my own soy milk - it’s so good!)
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 2 teaspoons Udo’s Oil
Instructions
- Add the ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
- Fill cavities of popsicle or (repurposed) cakesicle mold, insert popsicle sticks and freeze at least an hour until firm. Remove from mold and enjoy!
